It all started with a cookie... and a calendar full of every holiday — even the ones no one else celebrates. Summer solstice? Back to school? National Taco Day? Yep, I was baking for all of them. What began as fun custom treats for family parties quickly turned into a full-blown creative outlet (and yes, slight obsession).

When my little guy and I moved to Texas, I was looking for a new challenge. So I did what any normal person does when they need a fresh start — I took some cookie classes, bought way too many cookie cutters, and started experimenting in the kitchen. Before I knew it, I was hooked. Turns out, decorating cookies is oddly therapeutic.

The real plot twist? A friend flew into ATX for a bachelorette party and remembered a cookie I made years ago. She asked if I’d make some for her group — I did. Then someone at the party asked if I could make cookies for their kid’s birthday. One cookie led to another... and suddenly, ATX Cookies was born.

Since then, I’ve made cookies for everything from corporate events, weddings, to adoptions and vasectomies (yep — every occasion deserves a treat). Even cookies for great bosses, baby showers, birthdays, “just because” days — if you can dream it, I can cookie it.

By day, I work full-time in marketing (which I genuinely love). But by night? I trade emails for edible art. ATX Cookies has become my after-hours therapy — where I get to unplug, turn on an audio book, and pour creativity into every custom design.
